Anwar Cultural School
Fostering Connections Through Language
Academically
The aim of Anwar Cultural School is to enable pupils to read, write, and speak fluent Arabic. We teach children about their culture so that they can preserve their identity and celebrate their differences whilst participating fully within the community in which they live.
Socially
Anwar Cultural School fosters a welcoming environment where children freely make friends with peers from diverse backgrounds who share a common goal of learning the Arabic language. We embrace the rich diversity of Arabic dialects, including those from Egypt, Morocco, Yemen and other regions. This is important because teaching our children the Arabic language enables them to participate confidently within their native communities, and communicate with their grandparents and extended families in their original countries. Anwar Cultural School plays a vital role in enhancing students' self-esteem and confidence by offering a conducive platform where they can express their opinions on any challenges they may encounter.
Our Teachers and Administrators
Teachers at Anwar Cultural School are of Arabic origin with Arabic as their primary language. They hold high academic qualifications with some possessing a doctoral degree in medicine and serving as university lecturers.
Teacher training is provided on a weekly basis as we prioritize keeping our teachers and administrators updated with the latest educational and administrative skills to ensure they deliver their best in teaching our students and maintaining a safe environment.
